NJW13

So yesterday was NJW13 and all in all it was a pretty fun war. Small turn out but we still had some focused rounds so it was pretty enjoyable. Luckily Duxbarian dragged out some Water Warriors to fill in the ranks to cover people that didn't show up. We started with 3-15, went to Death Match, 4-5, and juggernaut. Air guns started to preform badly because of the cold sadly. We all chipped in and got Little Ceasers for lunch. It was a pretty fun war but we left early, around 2:30, because the snow started to get heavy. I'm sure our next war at Babbage will have a lot of leftover darts that we missed under the snow.

The Utorrent (Torrent "mostly" overhaul)

Now, for this mod I was going to make longer barrels and super glue the shells in-place, but for now the ranges seem decent enough, so I may still super glue them in, but I wont do anything else until the wind lets up one of these days.

This is a Buzz Bee Torrent, they can be found at Target for $14.98. At first they get 25'-30'. Mine had a messed up seal so I decided to fix it up TO THE MAX. I will be doing Jerms mod for CPVC barrels, only I will take out the black piece in the back, as well as make them rear loading capable. I will also add a spring that I'm almost positive was from a Home Depot spring pack.

Maverick Mod: Air Restrictor, Penny.

So, a little back story. First and foremost, I love Mavericks. They may get poor range, but they are, in my eyes, always a great starting blaster to introduce you into modding. They are very simple, and require only a screw driver and a hammer. Also, if you mess it up beyond repair, you can buy a new one for only 8 bucks at Walmart.
